I think this book will be about a teenage that was choose to become the new Giver. All these is plan such as The Truman Show, Jonas will use Truman position. Jonas is elected by all the community and in the few months he will make decreased the empire or government but after a while he will be unique because of the changes he would do towards everyone. Stage choose Jonas at little age so the program can continued a lot of time more. At some point of the story everyone will depend of Jonas and his truth.


Lowry is talking to all the childrens that will read this book. He means by this statement that the worlds evolution and all the advanced technology will be in our hands. He is refering to childrens since he is searching to inspired teenagers to progress and make a big change in the world.

I predict this book will have many conflicts with Jonas since they dont agree he should be the new Giver because it needs to be someone with wisdom and people with wisdom are usually old mens. This book will have many missunderstandings that will conduct to a split of people that preferes another one to be the new Giver.
